As reported by several residents, there have been recent sitings of a fox in our neighborhood, with concerns about walking pets in the area. The fox has not appeared to be sick or aggressive towards any residents or pets. Foxes are native to this area and normally do not go after humans or pets unless they feel threatened. Animal control has been contacted and they advised that unless the fox appears or acts sick or threatening, there is nothing they can do at this time. Foxes are extremely difficult to cage and relocate.
This is just a reminder to be observant of your surroundings when walking your pets and make sure your trash is being properly thrown in the dumpster as to not continually attract them to the area.
